Shrapnel Damages Aramco Building in Riyadh
Saudi Arabia’s Energy Ministry said an Aramco administrative building in Riyadh was damaged by falling shrapnel from an attempted attack on Sunday, with no casualties.[1] A Reuters witness saw blown-out windows across several floors of the Aramco Tower in the King Abdullah Financial District, Times of Israel reported.[2]
Saudi-led coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Maliki said air defenses destroyed two ballistic missiles fired toward Riyadh and another toward the Eastern Province, plus two missiles and a drone in the southern region.[1] The coalition later reported intercepting two cruise missiles over Riyadh and the south.[2]
On Saturday, Houthi spokesman Yahya Saria claimed six operations with ballistic and cruise missiles and drones, including strikes on Riyadh’s King Khalid airport and Aramco sites, according to Russian state agency TASS.[4] Al Jazeera said the Houthis have stepped up attacks on the kingdom since a Yemen truce collapsed in July.[1]

Blockade and Tanker Fires Around Hormuz
CENTCOM said it disabled a commercial vessel in the Gulf of Oman on Nov. 7 after its civilian crew ignored repeated warnings and tried several times to breach the blockade of Iran, striking the ship astern with precision munitions.[5] Al Jazeera described the vessel as St. Kitts-flagged and said the UAE reported rescuing 22 sailors from a burning ship near Hormuz on Sunday; it did not say the two incidents were linked.[6]
UKMTO reported an incident involving a bulk carrier and military forces about 18 nautical miles east of Khor Fakkan, UAE, with crew status and damage unknown at the time of the report.[7]
Claim: The IRGC said two tankers caught fire after hitting mines on routes Iran had not authorized,[8] and its navy said three more tankers exploded early Sunday, blaming their disabled navigation systems and U.S. military actions, according to TASS, a Russian state agency.[9] Peter’s World could not confirm either claim independently.
Claim: Tasnim, an IRGC-affiliated outlet, said explosions heard on Qeshm Island on Saturday were linked to activity in the strait and were not an attack, TASS reported.[17]
Iron Gate, a $20 Million Reward and Missile Range
IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi told the semi-official Fars agency the U.S. could not achieve an economic collapse in Iran through Task Force Iron Gate, CENTCOM’s new effort against weapons and sanctioned goods moving over land and across the Caspian.[10]
The State Department’s Rewards for Justice offered up to $20 million for information on Iran’s nuclear program, including facilities, equipment and personnel, the BBC reported. Iran says its program is peaceful.[11]
Mohebbi also said a 2,000-kilometer limit on Iran’s ballistic missile range had been lifted, but did not say whether longer-range missiles exist, Iran International reported.[12]
CNBC reported crude fell more than 16% over five trading days on hopes the Democratic midterm win would bring the war to an end, while analysts it interviewed warned the risk of renewed fighting remains high.[14]

President Isaac Herzog gave opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot the mandate to try to form Israel’s next government, NPR reported.[15]
In Iraq’s Kurdish region, the PUK pulled out of the government after a parliament session in Erbil went ahead without it, and analysts warned of rival administrations, Al Jazeera reported.[16]
