Independent reporting on geopolitics, warfare & world news
Geopolitics & Military Events Calendar 2026–2027
This calendar tracks the scheduled events most likely to move geopolitics and warfare from October 2026 through March 2027: leaders’ summits, state visits and bilateral meetings between countries, UN and alliance meetings, Security Council presidencies, major national elections, large military exercises, defense shows, treaty and sanctions deadlines, and key conflict anniversaries. It currently lists 84 upcoming entries, and every one links to an official source or a major news outlet. Use the search and filter bar below to narrow the tables by keyword, country or region, event type or month.
Last updated: September 30, 2026. Dates can change. Summits get moved, elections get postponed, and militaries often confirm exercise dates only days in advance. Entries marked (expected) are reported or planned but not yet officially fixed, and “TBC” means only the month is known.
How to use this calendar: filter by country, type or month (or type a keyword such as “Canada” or “Iran”), scan the Type column for summits, bilateral meetings, elections, exercises or deadlines, and click the source to confirm the latest details. Jump to: October 2026 · November 2026 · December 2026 · January 2027 · February 2027 · March 2027.
