Last updated: October 22, 2026. This page explains how Peter’s World uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools and what stays under human editorial control.
How we use AI
- Research and drafting: AI tools help gather official statements, summarize documents and draft text. Every factual claim must be attributed to a named, linked source, with official government (.gov) and university (.edu) sources preferred where they exist.
- Daily War Room reports: these briefings are compiled with AI assistance from public sources on a fixed template, and each one lists its sources.
- Images: some featured images are AI-generated illustrations. They are not photographs of real events and are labeled “AI-generated illustration”. Photographs are credited to their source.
- Translation: the site’s language switcher uses machine translation.
What AI does not do
AI is not used to invent quotes, sources, eyewitness accounts or first-hand experiences. Peter’s World’s founder, Peter, sets editorial policy, oversees the AI-assisted workflow and is responsible for everything published under the Peter’s World name, including its corrections. AI tools assist with research and drafting; they do not decide what is published.
