Peter’s World wants everyone to be able to read and use the site, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
What we do
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
- Pages use headings in order, descriptive link text and visible keyboard focus.
- Images have text alternatives, and charts and trackers are backed by text or downloadable CSV data.
- Text and buttons are designed for readable contrast and work on phones.
- Translations into Farsi, Hebrew and Spanish are available through the 🌐 language switcher, with right-to-left layout for Farsi and Hebrew.
Known limitations
Some older articles, interactive charts, embedded social posts and third-party content, such as ads and maps, may not fully meet these standards. We are working to improve them.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site is hard to use, email contact@petersworld.org or use our Contact page. Please include the page link and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 5 business days and can usually provide the information in another format.
