According to The Moscow Times and regional statements on September 7, a man and a woman were killed when a drone struck their car in Belgorod region near the Ukrainian border, and another man was killed in a separate attack in the border town of Grayvoron. In Perm, roughly 1,300 kilometers east of Ukraine, Governor Dmitry Makhonin said one person was killed and four were injured after a drone hit an apartment building. Unverified reports described smoke over an industrial area that houses defense-related facilities, including a gunpowder plant and rocket-engine manufacturing; those industrial details have not been independently confirmed in the same official tallies.
In Sevastopol, Kremlin-installed authorities said a 15-year-old girl and a man were killed overnight and that shrapnel-laden drones damaged windows in eight apartment buildings and a kindergarten. Russia Defense Ministry claimed it intercepted 306 Ukrainian drones across Russia and occupied Crimea between Sunday evening and Monday morning. The strikes landed in the same news cycle as inconclusive peace talks in Kyiv.
