By Peter Peters · Updated daily
Governments now fight with sanctions lists, tariff schedules, oil flows, chip licenses and payment systems as well as with weapons. This hub tracks those tools every day through one framework: geoeconomics, the use of economic power to compete with and pressure other states. Each daily Trade War Update reports what changed in the past 24 hours, who did it, and who gained or lost leverage, with every figure linked to its source.
New explainer: Understanding Global Trade Metrics: Who Depends on Whom defines the volume, dependence, shipping, tariff and currency numbers used in these reports, with formulas, worked examples and official data sources.
