Letter for Public Servants – Iran

Dear Public Servants,

I am asking you to pay close attention to the brutality and barbarism of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Too many Americans do not understand the nature of Iran’s theocratic dictatorship or the decades of repression inflicted upon the Iranian people. The IRGC has been a central instrument of that repression, including deadly crackdowns, arbitrary arrests, torture, and politically motivated executions. Most recently, Iranian authorities publicly executed three men in Isfahan, demonstrating once again how the death penalty is used to spread fear and silence dissent.

The Iranian people deserve to live free from tyranny. The IRGC and the Islamic Republic have held power for far too long, and the United States should not be indifferent to their suffering.

I believe the United States is morally on the right side in confronting the IRGC’s repression. I urge YOUR STATE public servants to educate themselves, speak openly about these atrocities, and stand in solidarity with the Iranian people who are seeking freedom, dignity, and a future that aligns with American Values.

Please do not let the crimes of the IRGC become invisible to the American public.

Respectfully,
